Talgarth Fell Race - 04.05.25

My first time at this race and it's a speedy one!

The race is just under 13km with 570m of elevation. It's got a bit of everything - a fast start and finish on the streets of Talgarth, some stile hopping through the countryside and a beasty off piste fell section with a proper steep climb and speedy descent.

I entered with the intention of seeing how the legs were doing post Paddy Buckley Round, and as an opportunity to get back into 'race mode' ahead of my main races for the year.

Very happy to come away with 7th overall, no niggles and a good few battles throughout.

More importantly, it was so good to see Bethan back at her first race post blood clot.

Not only did she make a return to fell racing on her home turf, but also took the win!

Inspiring on so many levels!

Massive thanks to the race organisers and marshals.
